The RAI market traditionally uses wide web, short cutoff presses producing the classic square tabloid product. WPM offers these printers the ability to add value to the finished product to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Wide webs and double around plate cylinders allow WPM’s Inline Finishing Systems a large paper portrait to finish. The WPM Revolution Rotary Cutter is an innovative departure from the traditional combination or tabloid folder in that it is capable of producing variably sized products simply by adding or subtracting knives from the cutting cylinder using our exclusive QuickLock knife technology. Any multiple of the press repeat can be cut to give an alternative head to foot dimension of the product. Furthermore, products can be finished to size, with bleeds trimmed on all sides, providing the best looking, finish trimmed, RAI products the industry has ever seen.
