The WPM SeamGluer TM with Envelope Plow is designed to apply wet glue on the top or bottom side of the web and then plow fold the web, sealing the glue. It is designed for the production of inline envelopes, business reply envelopes, double thick business reply cards or encapsulated fragrance bursts. As an integral component to a finishing line, the SeamGluer uses the same solid built design platform as our RemoistGluer so make-ready and set-ups between gluers are consistent. Arranged in combination with WPM’s exclusive “Flex” components the SeamGluer can be turned into a UV applicator with kiss cut die cutting capability for high impact label and sticker production. And like every WPM finishing component, the WPM SeamGluer can be servo driven using the very best most reliable and professionally supported electronics in the business.
