WPM’s patented TruLock® Steel Rule Mechanical Knife Holder is one of the six different knife options for WPM rotary die cutter lines. As a user friendly tool for today’s busy rotary die cutting pressmen, the TruLock® Mechanical Steel Rule Knife Holder takes just a minute to mount on WPM’s exclusive Honeycomb knife cylinder and besides having many varieties of inexpensive replaceable knife blades, TruLock® knife holders saves valuable press time. WPM offers a variety of steel rule blade knife holders depending upon your die cutting module. The reusable steel rule blade knife holder is extremely flexible and allows rapid changeover of  replacement knife blades for both single, chip, and perf configurations via top-mounted adjustment screws. Unlike other mechanical knife holders, TruLock® steel rule blade mechanical knife holders do not need to be removed from the cylinder to change the replacement cutting blade. WPM offers an assortment of replacement blades at a low cost.

Recently, WPM has reintroduced a brand-new version of the TruLock® Steel Rule Blade Mechanical Knife Holder.  The latest steel rule blade knife holder model is embedded with a two piece body construction that would be bolted to the cylinder. It has a retractable blade bar that operates from the top. This is a great asset because there is no need to rotate the cylinder around to change the replacement blades, which enables prompt adjustment. This is one example of innovation that WPM's technical die cutting team engineered. It is another die cut tooling option that will save you time on make ready and job changeovers.


While other manufacturers of rotary die cutters offer only a mechanical knife holder, a single knife option, the WPM TruLock® Mechanical Steel Rule Blade Knife Holder is just one of six different knife options available on all WPM rotary cutters and die cutters.
