WPM is proud to introduce to the converting market a new concept in variable web die cutting!
WPM’s VariCutter™ Die Cutting System is designed to use multiple tooling in the same module and incorporates exclusive features including variable repeat drives and a unique variable web compensator called SRC (Servo Reciprocating Compensator) to actually control the non-cut area of the die tooling.
The distinct advantage is the modular design of the VariCutter™ combined with the use of WPM’s exclusive TruCut™ molded knife and die tooling or magnetic RP die plates provides capability of programmable variable repeat die cutting without ever changing cylinders or modules. It is the most efficient way to improve productivity at a fraction of the cost of traditional platen die cutting.
If desired, the VariCutter™ Die Cutting System is also capable of running solid tooling for fixed repeat. So no matter what your die cutting needs are… long or short run… variable product changes… multiple substrates, the WPM VariCutter™ Die Cutting System is the right choice for today’s high speed converters of folding cartons and packaging products.
